I would be very surprised if we get any sort of response from Ganiman about this, seeing as the donations were made for no other reason than to fund new servers (so FFXIclopedia wouldn't have to be sold to Wikia, which Ganiman went on and on about how bad it would be), nothing short of a full refund to those who donated will be acceptable.

The fund-raiser was to expand their server storage and improve site speed if I remember right. Then they moved their stuff to free servers via wikia.
