Logitech headset not being recognized by Vista anymore. HELP!
Hey everyone, thanks again for the help on the PC, it runs beautifully and runs Warhammer like a champ. Anyway, just yesterday I had been using a Logitech USB headset that is just a plug-n-play for Ventrillo. I plugged it in yesterday and it gave me the error that the device has malfunctioned and is no longer working properly. I reinstalled my sound drivers and everything, it notices it all over again, but then gives me the same malfunction error in like 10 seconds. Note Ive been using this headset on XP for about a year...its a VERY good headset, and has never caused me any issues.
Anyone have any idea what the issue is? Via googling I realized it sounds like an issue with Logitech shit (and possibly a combination of it with Vista)...since it has no drivers for it, if it malfunctions you're pretty much fucked. I take that with a grain of salt, since there's always a way to get something working. Take note its nothing to do with my USB ports, Ive been using a Rock Band mic to speak since then, and everything works perfectly in it. I just hate using the mic, and I want my expensive headset back. Annnnyyy clues?
P.S. No lolVista jokes, I got it for free and wanted to test it out and see what the big fuss is about. Frankly I hate it but that's another story for another thread.
