Daevanion Armor Exchange (Asmo)

Well, this morning I went to go try and change out my chain daevanion body armor for the legs and come to find out I cannot find a single NPC in Pandemonium that offers it. Look things up online and find out that this whole process is broken for asmo at the moment.. some translation issue I'm guessing. Thought I'd write up the steps for anyone that wants to do this, since there was no complete guide online, I had to find bits and pieces of the info from like 2-3 different sites.

To start off, have the item you want to exchange sitting in your actual inventory, not wearing it on your character. Head over to the Daevanion Accessories vendor that you purchased the Daevanion Lamp from in the first quest. Buy the Daevanion's Light for 61k for this exchange.

From here head to the NPC Narvi inside the great temple

This is the NPC thats supossed to do the exchange for us but when you talk to her, you get no dialogue about it. From here, you need to change your game back to Korean. Completely exit out of Aion and go into your NCSoft/Aion/L10N folder and move the files 1_enu.pak and 2_enu.pak somewhere outside of this folder. Restart Aion and it will be all in Korean. Speak with Narvi again and you'll now get the option to exchange your armor.

The first set of options are the different armor sets, and you have to choose the set of that piece that you currently have that you want to exchange.

After that, it will bring you to a second list of options. This the individual armor piece that you want to exchange. The top option is body, 2nd is legs and I am not sure of the order of the rest. Once you select the piece you have, it'll bring you to a list similar to the picture above. This is where you choose what set of armor you want to pick from for your char. Grab the piece you want from the obvious set of armor that it shows after that, get 5k exp (WOO) and you're good to go.

After all that, log all the way out of Aion again, slap those enu.pak files back into the L10N folder and you should be all set.

Hopefully this helps some people, because I personally was stumped for about an hour on this whole thing. I sure hope NCSoft fixes this soon.

I'd report it if you haven't. That's a pretty major flaw in the system even if exchanges are probably on the rare side.

Oh its already been brought up them by many people I am sure. There's a thread about it on the main aion forums about it.
