Default Moblin Maze Mongers Rune Listing

Trying to spread the information around...Took me a few days to find it in the .DATs

This is a list of all the Runes that will be available for Moblin Maze Mongers. What are Maze Runes? They determine how your dungeon is constructed, from mob behavior, type of mob, enhancements to mobs, and even restrictions to players. Remember, Runes take up a certain number of squares on the 5x5 Maze Tabula, so you can only put so many runes on the board to be designed...

Didn't SE mention it's up to a craft of 60 only? Or did I misread it?

Hm, who would gather a group of people for the crafting party enhancement? Anybody have 6 crafting mules they play simultaneously that want to craft in private?

By the way, if all the slots are taken up by those runes, where do you place the actual walls and floors and such?

Well, I dunno how actual skilling up will fare, but with the upping HQ chances there, hard to say if it applies to all or 60 and below.

I think they said you could only skill up to 60, it's possible if you synthed higher you'd still get the HQ benefit.

The 5x5 grid on the maze tabula is not the layout of the dungeon. Think of the grid as Max BLU set points, and the Maze Runes as spells. If you want to set a Rune on the grid, it will cost X amount of squares. This is to keep players from throwing 50 different runes into one dungeon. The area where the tunnel leads for MMM is Ghoyu's Reverie.

Some of those actually sound surprisingly cool. I hope people come up with some creative stuff, I know I'm going to try my hand at it. Thanks for posting this!

I was gonna say "minus the khroma" to Kaylia's comment, really. Since apparently they don't want gil to be a motivator in this, I can't see them putting a 300k AHable there. Sure, it might tank the market, but we also thought Mog Bonanza would do the same. At least temporarily.

That is it for now, but the listing that I found had and index of 32767 items, meaning there is a lot of room for them to expand. (There are about 7 duplicates and/or similarly worded strings per entry, but that is still a ton of space.)

So it says it boosts synthesis skill, meaning it's just free support? You'll probably have to supply your own mats, and have to be in a party? :/ Weird.

And here I thought I was gonna get a free ticket to goldsmithing 60.

Don't be so hasty! Every craft skill has 4 unique items of indeterminate material. Smithing for example:

Rusted Nugget - BGWiki
Sooty Nugget - BGWiki
Charred Nugget - BGWiki
Warped Ingot - BGWiki

Then there are two NQ and HQ items that would seem to correspond to items commonly found in those skills. (In mostly the same order, cooking and alchemy are reversed.) Smithing for example:

MMM Sword - BGWiki
MMM Axe - BGWiki
MMM Sword Plus 1 - BGWiki
MMM Axe Plus 1 - BGWiki

My guess is that these items will be temporary items that you can get from chests in the Maze, and you will have to combine them in various ways with crystals (hopefully also temporary) to make the crafted items. The more that you do, and the better your results (HQs) the more points you will get.

But this is a cursory glance from the information in the dats, I could be wrong. All of these items are in the General item listing of the Wiki update.

They said that 1-2% of MMM will be implemented and that they will expand on MMM in the future so im not surprised at the amount of index listings. It was a pain though to scroll through a lot of dead space lol.

Um... what the hell. I wasn't worried about the crafting skillups aspect of this, since it's below 60... but if this is synthing items you can walk out of there with...

Hopefully it's just temp items.

I'm wondering if you can pt with random person in town, then kick them so you keep the PT status active and then go in by yourself when you want to reap the rewards of the HQing boost in MMM.

Think that will count? I bet the rate jumps depending on how many people are in your pt though..

Well in the Interview that Elmer posted they said the the MMM upon release is only going to be about 1-2% of the final outcome, so i think we are going to see this being a HUUUUGE part of the game in the near future. They will be adding more of these runes in the future i am sure.

Yeah, there's only job runes for the initial 6 jobs. This means while we could make rabbit sorcerers that can cast Flare on you, we can't have eft scholars or bat puppetmasters.
