And at the request of several of team captain planet members while they hit up for our Lakshmi LS boards, I bring to you early morning Ixion lulz.

So I get off work flipping some burgers for the man around 11 and I see Vicious ain't up in Dragon's Aery. Many eyebrows were raised! Got my friend Wraith to tell me they were camping Ixion, so I warp in by Recall-Jugner to watch the lulz. Then I noticed some members from TFS were there watching them die too. Bime let me know it was already up for an hour and it kept blinking white like a broken Christmas tree.

This is where the master plan begins!

I decided that watching several other LSs try to gank Ixion would be funny as shit. So I let SnD know that Ixion was up and soon as I know it, they roll out in full force. Mass shit talking occurs (and I found out that somehow Vicious stole Koga Chainmail from them? wut? someone needs to explain that to me). I'm still talking to Bime and we decided to just start inviting random people just to laugh at these guys tossing a phalanx of WHMs at this thing, flinging R1s left and right along with their PLDs just to get people up from the continual assraping.

Eventually we get members from Eminence, HNA, Hyperion(that isnt even a HNM LS that I know of), and Anduril all in once alliance just to laugh at the shitstorm that was brewing in Jugner. After the sixth+ time it went yellow, SnD almost claimed it but Vicious got it back, and a few minutes later our ragtag alliance claimed it at 3% (mind you it kept healing itself under 10% over and over and over...almost made me go crazy@@) and zerged the shit out of it, leading to this:

If you know anything of the history of the linkshell this happened too you wouldnt be saying anything. They would have done the same to any other shell on the server, they gloat when they steal HNM's from other linkshells they openly bot and brag about mpk'ing shells on their website. They are the most hated shell on the server for a reason, and its been well documented on BG. Is that enough explanation for ya?

Considering most of us are from other servers and don't know the history behind linkshells on other servers, its usually a good idea to post info like the above in the OP.

Not directed at anyone in general, just defending those who replied asking why anyone should care since I felt the same when I first read it. The linked thread makes it more interesting than if it were just the OP.

I'm not even in a Lakshmi HNM shell, so I can comment without any bias. I'll sum up the situation so it isn't a "LOLZ @ our rival Linkshell!!@!@" post:

After hearing from a couple sources that Vicious was on their 4th hour fighting Ixion, I headed out to have a look. Tele'd, died almost instantly from AOE since they were fighting on top of tele crystal. Took a look around and was surprised to see 2-3 members from each of about 5 other endgame shells, just to watch the chaos and lack of control. I guess that shows Vicious' reputation right there. During that hour, I saw at least 50 deaths, of which at least 10 were delevels. I don't normally take enjoyment from other's misfortune, but I have to admit that it was entertaining. >.< Watched Ixion's health bounce around 8-20% the whole time. Suddenly was invited to a party, and realized it was a rag-tag alliance of the other linkshells (dubbed Team Random). We joked that if claim opportunity became available, we would take it. About 30 seconds later I saw Ixion turn yellow, then red. 30 seconds later it was over and full drops.

From what I've heard and gather, I guess a SearchNDestroy Hourglass mule was dishing out HGs to late people, and accidentally gave one out to a Vicious member... who then gave to multiple other members. GM was called, and actually showed up and hung out with them in Dynamis the entire run. Eventually, they started lotting on drops, one of which was the Koga (which they won). GM couldn't do anything about it unless a Vicious member crossed broke User Agreement - and eventually one did (I will restrain giving a name) by casting AOE on an avatar, thus MPKing. Went directly to jail. Did not pass Go. Again - further proof of Vicious' demeanor.

Vicious is a amalgamation of 2 different LS that transferred over to lakshmi a few months ago. They outright admit to botting NMs and the like. While there have been suspicions of other LS botting, it couldn't be proven and they surely did admit to or be proud of it. Any time they don't get claim on something they shit talk the LS that got claim. When they claim things, they are horrible at killing them. 4+ hour tiamats, ixions, cerbs, etc.

Normally I wouldnt condone NM stealing, but in this case karma is a bitch,

You mean like correspondance with JP players or Enmity testing? Not to mention the other sections of the forum, I don't see a lot of drama or update threads in Event Strategies. Drama threads have always been a large part of what made BG fun for a lot of people. This may not be the most exciting drama, but since when is crappy drama making it's way to advanced something new?
