Note about new forums 7/5 (Updated)

Logins are case sensitive, we are working on that (fixed)

All passwords are reset, before you email me try recovering your passworde. (Sonomaa at gmail dot com)

Some settings are wacky regarding sigs, avatars, and such, bear with us. (mostly resolved)

This skin is not super pretty, sorry. (FIXED, they are mostly pretty now)

Some username errors, working on that. (better)

edit: automatic password seems buggy. i've received two of them for my original account and neither worked.

yes it does you have look where it says quote at the bottom of a post then the multi-quote button then the quick reply button see it works fine

oh blah this feature. i swear there is a vBulletin code for a quick reply that doesn't require you to click a seperate button. at least there was a few years ago.

Theres a problem with the thread order in spam, it won't default to sort by "Last post > Descending > Last Month" like the rest of the forums.

Quick reply won't work for me in Safari or Firefox. I have to click on one of the reply buttons below a post.

Was able to reset password though so I'm happy about that. Oh and my -1 unread private message thing is gone as well. Cool.

So I logged into the account I use regularly and it wouldn't let me post. This old account, I had forgotten the password and email I had used after I quit the game for a while but remembered the other accounts info. I PM'd Sonomaa about it with a screenshot I took. Please let me know if it's fixable in the near future.. for now I am good on this account I guess.

Quick reply seems to work fine on FF on mac, though it's dumb you have to click something before you can reply :/

otherwise, nice job, this sort of transfer of lots of info etc. is really annoying!

Because phpbb was exploding after a million posts or something like that. Also had alot of trouble handing massive forum views, ie patch days. The server would be fine but phpbb wasn't coded to take it so it all just crapped out.

I personally like vBulletin way more than PHPBB. Once this is all set up properly, these forums will run way better than they were. You can't expect a transition as big as this to work 100% right away.

I like the design of these boards, but maybe you should limit avatar height to something small ( like 40px max) because when people will use their 250 height avatars plus their at least as long signatures, it will be really boring to read ( it is already if we look at some avatars just in this thread).

The forums will hopefully get a new skin soon to make it look like the old forums in that regard. Vb (and even the new phpbb) try to be cool and unique by making avatars all over the place when they all look retarded except when they're on the left.
