I just saw Quantum of Solace tonight and this was in the trailers... I had no idea that it was star trek at first, but HOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT this looks like it could be amazing. Please don't screw it up.

Yeah, kinda has me confused too. Why exactly is Kirk driving what looks to be a vintage T-Bird, or something similar, off a cliff again?

Kirk is sorta oldschool anyway isn't he? In one of the older movies he spends the intro climing El-Capitan in Yosemite valley, camping out like a forest hobo.

He also grew up on a ranch in nowhere with horses or something didn't he? Him and Picard technically had similar backgrounds as far as that goes. While the movie makes less sense, there is a slam chance they kept his background the same at least.

I dunno, maybe a longshot, why the hell a T-Bird/Vette <_<? meh
