Default Top Chef! Season 5

The premiere of Top Chef season 5 is tomorrow night, and I don't know about you guys, but after last season I'm super excited.

BRAVOtv.com : Top Chef : Season 5 : Bios

Here's a list of all of the new people that are going to be on this season. It starts tomorrow night at 10 p.m. and it's sure to be just as good as all of the other seasons!! Oh, and this time the show is going to be in New York. I'm gonna root for Jill in the beginning, since she's from where I'm from, but I'm also tempted to root for Leah, since that's my name... This will probably change after the episode, but it's always nice to have people you're interested in.

Judging solely by the pictures - Richard is going to win, and Danny will do well, but not have the skills required to win, but be REALLY good at cooking non gourmet things.

I can just look at that guy and think "Man, I bet he can make the best burger I've ever had, but I wouldn't trust him with foie gras.

Hosea looks like he could do well. Patrick and Jamie will get the boot fast. And I'll root for Lauren cause she's the hottest one there.

I'm hoping Jamie stays for a while since she's the only San Franciscan there. I've been to Absinthe and it's damn good.

Hosea or Fabio are my picks to win.

I'm excited to see what the Long Island City inspired food will be as that's where I live and it's mainly industrial.

That condo in Williamsburg where they are staying is really nice.

Long Island City is middle eastern? Wow that's news to me. I've never seen a middle eastern store here.

edit: I guess that would explain the Halal truck at the corner during lunch.

Jill looked like she was going to have a seizure standing there at the end. I'm kind of surprised Arienne didn't go home this week.

If there's anything the other chefs can learn from the first couple eliminations it's that you shouldn't fucking use ingredients you've never worked with when your shot at fame is on the line.

Can't wait for How's-my-hair Jeff's slowness to cost him big time.

Another thing they should have learned is so don't dessert if you don't know what you're doing.

I think anyone who's ever watched the show should know that, yet every season there's only like 2 people who can do deserts.

I agree Deft. The show has been on for four seasons now, people should watch it realize that the weak spot always seems to be dessert. They should memorize some recipes ahead of time, I mean...come ON. My favorites so far are the Europeans, I love their accents and snobbishness lol.

I can't really stand Fabio. He is a good cook but his arrogance just makes him so so SO freaking annoying. I don't really have a favorite yet since it is still early in the season.
