So a friend pointed me in the direction of this site:
http://www.ggpo.net It's an emulator that allows you to play certain games online with one another, one of them being Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (Arguably the best Street Fighter in the series). So my question is, anyone else interested in getting this so we can start a little group of people? I haven't really played in ages (not to mention I'm playing with a USB Joystick... I'm horribly with sticks, especially a Hori Gumball) so getting a few more people from BG that aren't so great and wanna play a few would be awesome.

I'll try this... I doubt I'll be able to play well at all with a keyboard even though I can play certain games with it.
Should be fun to play some 3S online with folks.

I take it you can't run this behind a router if you don't have access to forwarding the proper ports? And do versions matter? I got an EU rom back when I played it to practice for the coin-op unit at my college.

Do you have the CHD file? You need 2 files.
"sfiii3.zip" (which must have the bin file as well as the .chd file) Then you must also have "sfiii3n.zip" I'll post sfiii3n.zip since it's only a 130kb file. You're on your own to get the .chd and the ROM file. http://eden.rutgers.edu/~kusanagi/sfiii3n.zip

@Char: Check inside the zip file. It should have a .bin and a .chd file.

I'm having a problem with my router. It can't find the "apply.cgi" page so it can't accept my changes... I'm wondering what this is all about. Hold on.
Edit: Ok opened the ports. If it doesn't load now, then Rutgers just sucks for online play and blocks it.

Google sfiii3.zip and put it in the Roms folder (The correct size should be somewhere between 63~128 mbs I guess). Download sfiii3n.zip on the link up there. Open ports 6000-6009 UDP and 7000 TCP. Fire it up and you're good to go.
