Checked a few reviews on these but really didn't find anything worthwhile or just shitty ass reviews about them. So I was wondering what everyone thought of these games.
The Lost Vikings (Sega Genesis) Is this title any good, I got it for 5 dollars mint in box at a yard sale and have only heard from friends that the game was "Blizzard's" first? Is this game similar to the "Gauntlet" series? Sword of Mana (GBA) Is this in anyway related to Secret of Mana for the SNES? This is another game I got mint in box for 7-8 bucks and didn't know if it was similar in any way of story or characters to the SNES one. Doom (Sega Genesis 32x) Whats so special about this one? I have it also mint in box but wondering if its any different than the original doom? Diddy Kong Racing (N64) My friend told me to get this game since I like Mario Kart alot. I've never tried any of the Monkey-racing series games yet so I just wanted a few opinions on it also before I try playing it out fully. Street Fighter II (SNES) Street Fighter II Turbo (SNES) Super Street Fighter II (SNES) Whats the difference between all 3 of these? I got all 3 of them yesterday for 13 bucks (cartridges only) and don't know the difference... Thanks |

The Lost Vikings (Sega Genesis)
Not their first title. It's a puzzle game where you try to get from Point A to B using three viking characters you toggle through. You got your attacker, your jumper, and your guy-with-shield who can use said shield as a platform for your jumper to land on top of to reach other places. I quite enjoyed it back as a kid with the SNES version, some real brain teasers in there. Sword of Mana (GBA) It's like it, but I really didn't enjoy it at all, especially with the brain dead AI partner holding you back. Doom (Sega Genesis 32x) No idea. Diddy Kong Racing (N64) It's good. Lots of tracks, three vehicles to use (kart, hovercraft, airplane), hard difficulty, etc. Only problem is that it's presented in a fashion that'd get a little kid excited, so if you can't stand high-pitched voices or happy-go-lucky music, well,. enjoy! Street Fighter II (SNES) Street Fighter II Turbo (SNES) Super Street Fighter II (SNES) SF2 is vanilla Street Fighter. Turbo iirc adds colour swaps to the characters and includes four additional characters, as well as turbo mode. Forgot what Super added but it's essentially the best of the three. |

Sword of Mana is a remake of Seiken Densetsu 1 (read : the prequel to Secret of Mana), which was an original Gameboy game. It was called Final Fantasy Adventure here in America.
Get the original if you can get your hands on it, it was a great game. The remake was terrible. |

Super Turbo is considered the very best street fighter II. It had Super attacks(and has all of the characters). There have various balancing differences between each one, so they are all a little different.
Also, make sure to get Super Turbo HD when it comes out. It will probably be the best version yet, with good character balance. |
