Default Get together and Play

I'd like the see the BG community play games together. A simple night of gameplay, maybe on a semi-regular basis.

Not a tournament, those tend to fall through.

And which games? Not everyone will have every game, maybe free games, popular games?

This idea has no solid form, which is why I'd like to see what other people think about it.

It's an interesting concept to be sure, but I don't think there's any way people would all agree on a singular game to play. There's too many people with different tastes, but the possibility of doing something like this with multiple games at a time I could see as being viable.

Needs more netplay Toejam and Earl. Shame I'm in Europe and my shitty connection doesn't allow me to play most stuff with people in America.

I'm also down for Yahoo! games if we can schedule it (fuck my homework load).

An FPS would be better though, which in my case I'd prefer TF2.

I didn't expect the Yahoo! games thing to go over so well considering I was being sarcastic. :\

I love to play SC, but I gotta admit I'm really really bad. I spend a lot more time watching than playing, lol. That doesn't mean I'm not up for some games though.

I get on SC a ton lately. I have a bunch of people from BG already on my friend's list but they're never on. I'd totally play some classic SC, LT or BGH ftmfw...

a UMS is fine too

But if you wanted something more free and truly universal to everybody, I've always been a fan of iSketch (aka Win Lose or Draw).
