That wasn't bad. The music brings back many memories of my childhood. The games were hard when I was -10 years old, but even now, I've never made it to the end of those hidden island stages in DKC2. After the third or fourth level in there it's just frustrating.

I love the DKC games so much... I grabbed all 3 on Virtual Console so I could put my SNES away to make space on my stand. So far I've completed DKC1 and I'm halfway through DKC2 (alas school owns my time). Anyone remember the secret world in DKC2? I loved all that crap man, the game itself was awesome & pretty easy, but came with a bunch a secret stuff. DKC3 in my opinion was 'OK' but I didn't think it eclipsed DKC2. That's not to say it wasn't good, it was just more of the same (which I liked, so meh). It took me ages but I finally beat every DKC completely... mmhmm damn those Banana Birds in 3...
Anyone else get frustrated driving the hover boat around in circles in DKC3 to unlock the secret world? GD I can do it so easy now...but that first time made me chuck an SNES controller across the room. Thank god they had corded controllers back then ... edit: laughed way harder than I expected when he said, "Hit a motha-fuckin' bumblebee over the head," lol...
