WotG Pokesnaping

I tried snapping a Gnat a few times someone aggroed, all failed, tried a Ruffelisia, all failed. Anyone successfuly captured a new monster's plate? Or are they not even usable in the pit...?

I snapped a Sprite in Rolanberry Fields [S] and got a Wind Resistance Bonus plate, but unfortunately it can't be turned into a soul reflector.

Can't use Pixies or Gnoles. Can use the orange tigers and dark bombs, however.

Can't use Rafflesia (I got Auto-Regen and CHR +25 plates off Jumbo Rafflesia in Meriphataud Mountains [S]). Also can't use Gnats (I got an Auto-Haste plate of Gnat somewhere). You can use the flower-headed mandies (I got a a Defense Bonus plate off a Lycopodium in Sauromugue Champaign [S]) and red coeurls (I got an Instant Barthunder plate off a Lynx in Meriphataoud Mountains [S]).

What job on the lynx and lycopodium, if you don't mind?

Lynx was WAR/NON. Lycopodium was MNK/NON.

Peistes can't be made into Pankration mobs either (damn it). In fact, I doubt that any new type of mob that isn't a variant of an existing Pankration mob type (like the lynxes/smilodons/lycopodia/djinn) can be used; if they could be, SE probably would have mentioned it alongside the elementals in the update notes. I'll test ladybugs eventually anyway but I'm not really not expecting anything.

Do Lynx use that Blink of Peril WS that the War Lynx in the Windy Storyline used? That WS took the THF I was duoing it with down to 7 HP; no exaggeration. If the Lynxes get that WS and the War Lynx wasn't just some Mission NM that got an uber WS then maybe level Lynx. Has anyone who has farmed War Lynxs in Meriphataud seen this "Blink of Peril" or something like that that did a shitton of damage?

I doubt a Lynx in Pankration would get Blink of Peril (or any of their other TP new moves), considering Eruca can't use Incinerate.

Ah, didn't know they didn't get it. But it's still worth a shot. I assume by your response that the War Lynx do in fact use the Blink of Peril?

I have no idea, the quest NM was the only Lynx I ever killed.

I havent done Pankration since the WotG released, (DNC is too much fun) from what i seen in recent posts doesnt look like they upped the level cap or added new hats.

Is the cap the same? did they add new rewards? any new pets (besides elementals and different skinned mobs) available? are there any new skills besides the +50stat stuff they announced in the patches?

Basically have they done any of the stuff we were hoping for? and if not can some one post when they do? (some one probly will without being prompted to ofc)

Smilodons just produce the usual black tiger model too. I was hoping that my tiger would at least look different from the people's who snapped Byakko for their base critter plate, but no such luck.

Interesting thing on Toads, they seem to give the same exact stuff as Poroggo, such as Elemental Magic Bonus, Main Job: BLM, and Sub Job: BLM. Since they seem to be considered Poroggos, I would assume they can't be used in the Pit.
