After reading the other thread I became really interested in getting one. I wanted to go for one with Auto-Regen as an innate but after massive amount of crap luck getting one I'm wondering if I should change it at all. I'm aiming for auto regen but the only luck I got with it was with Lizard Killer. Sure theres an eft champeon but I'm sure attack/evasion/acc bonus with it is 500x better. I'm not sure if the other stuff I got as well is any good. I have no idea how store TP works but it might rape if it's fully leveled? I dunno.

I'm sitting at 432 pictures of rabbits which is around how many I took of Bees, but I don't want to give up after just getting the innate (for the Bee I wanted Attack Speed with a second innate, but gave up when I finally just got Attack Speed).

Got a few votes but if I go for one w/o auto regen what should I put on it? I don't think autoregen is worth the FP, despite being really good. >.> We don't have any bunny champs so I don't know what really works lol.

Don't see why people are voting for store tp and +15% attack...both those traits absolutely suck.

Store TP is no good? If lvl50 store TP acted like Store TP +50 then it would be good, but I guess theres no way to tell.

In other news, I got 3 Auto-Regains today. Two with no other trait and the third... with Lizard Killer. I'm at the point where Im tossing Lizard Killers now since theres no possible good trait to pair it with anymore. I really don't want to give up and give it Lizard Killer with something good though cause I know I'll regret it... but is Whirl Claws that good? If so then the Auto-Regain TP spam might not be so bad. :/

I dunno I just never see bunnies so I dunno what they're capable of really. I just hear about how they rock on other servers but I never see em in Diabolo here.

Auto-Regain is one of the best traits that rabbits get because Whirl Claws is pretty potent.

Theres a rabbit a guy I know has, it came with auto-regain, and he loaded up the levelable attack bonus, and +25 str. It uses whirlclaws about every 2 attack rounds for 180-225 damage a ws.

Hmmm that's pretty good. I'll try a few more hq cameras worth of attemps to see if I can get another regain to save 30 points on attack. I assume tp regain means I wouldn't make it defensive at all lol.

Well I meant defensive as in "Blaze Spikes, Phalanx, Protect" as opposed to "Attack Boost, STR" etc.

auto-regain or auto-regen is my opinion, there are now 8rabbit champs on my server... i think 4 belong to one person. . .

Regain rabbits i seen either have alot of defence or evasion, the one that is champ when i logged was at 600ish wins his build is blatently obviouse, Auto-Regain, Blink, Stoneskin, Phalanx, WAR traits, /SUB... My wyvern has beaten this rabbit before, but due to the craptastic accuracy of wyverns its luck really. Rabbits have a naturally nast evasion even without anything to boost it on low ACC mobs ; ;

Regen rabbits seem to be dieing out lately, the only one i see (never seen this particular one lose - only retire) takes single digit dmg from most everything, and spams whirl claws, he does have protect confirmed, the rest i dunno.

I think I'm gonna go for a build like that, but change it a little. I'm gonna take on Acc bonus, since whirl claws is multi hit? Plus due to the massive amount of evasion whores on Bahamut.

I decided to just use my Lizard Killer/Auto-regain one. I tried many times to get a better innate with it but.. no luck.

Whirl Claws is single hit I'm pretty sure.

dont think you'll really need accuracy bonus to land whirl claws, but if you're set on it, i'd think that the 23FP accuracy+15% would be sufficient and that would still leave you a lil more FP to play with.

Oh it's one hit? Coulda sworn I've seen it take a few shadows when I faught them. Guess not.

I should probably set something more offensive then. <.<

Because of the way physical aoe moves work, single hits can take multiple shadows based on your ninjitsu skill.

Thats why some single hit aoe's wipe shadows totally, and some take 2-3 shadows.

Oh gay. :/ I guess I should probably go with attack+15% then? Since my guy is already kinda defensive? Or is str+25 better?

personally i think the attack+15% is > STR+25

+15% attack is lame. It doesn't make a noticable difference at all. My friend made an antlion that was almost exactly the same as mine, except with +15% attack where mine had no attack. His ant hit for about 5 damage a hit harder. He took it off and reworked and loaded up the levelable attack bonus, and it started hitting 25 damage a hit harder.

The +25 str will at least enhance your rabbits tp attacks alot more.

guess it depends on the pets base attack, if its a lot attack base pet, yea attack+15% kinda moot, but on something like a rabbit he's probsbly right to go with str

I'm gonna go for levelable STR bonus since that's the same cost as Attack+15%. If I gave it +25 I wouldn't know what to do with the extra 8 FP I'd have leftover.

Also my rabbit is being wierd and sometimes doesn't "Show no Mercy". I'll tell it to, and it says it's listening, but it won't. It'll save to 300% and then Foot Kick. I have to spam the command till I see Whirl Claws and even then after a few Whirl Claws it might go back to storing TP and Foot Kicking.


I think the last update changed some Pankration stuff because it's also taking a super long time to change it's temperment. Maybe that has something to do with it's randomness? At level 20, spamming commands like crazy it finally changed to "very low" instead of extremely.

I've been having similar problems for the run of it, I think that's why most JPs are very tame/somewhat aggressive. It possibly makes the pet tend less towards being independent, I've been trying to figure it out this week.

I'm seeing this also, but i think i may have figured it out a lil bit (maybe). I got my petro crab to 50, just hit Slightly below normal... but what i noticed was this:

He started out as somewhat wild and very aggressive, he would't listen to any defensive commands, so i tried giving him the middle ground stuff out of frustration. well, he was ignoring guard block parry hold, but he listened to give a little more bite, wich brings you to somewhat aggresive. once he was there, i started guard block parry hold, and he listened pretty regularly, so perhapds, the command have to be slightly more inline with the pets temperment? or could just be ebcause the tweeked the discapline growth speed >_<

Anyways, it could just be coinsadence, but if not, it may be worth it to try out to see if thats the case.

My rabbit atm has:

Lizard Killer (Innate)
Auto-Regain (Innate)
Stoneskin
Blink
Phalanx
Str Bonus

It has 25 more points and I'm not sure what to put. War traits? +25 str? Sleeping attack? Anyone have any suggestions?


Edit: Apparently I fail at math and only had 15 points left. War Traits it is!

Auto regain was the random latent. It'll never show up on the plate.


Update: I need to change my strategy to beat elementals. Not sure if I should go to enlight to beat them or endispel. My regular hits were 0-3, with side hits around 30 and whirls around 60. I barely got it to half or so and not sure which is better, and not even sure if they have any buffs (but probably seeing as how I hit for crap). Im afraid of phalanx raping my enlight if I go with that.

Any ideas what to put on/take off?
