Crawler/Eruca

I'm hoping to build an defensive/tank Crawler(Eruca would be best, so I can rely on Incenerate after Cocoon). Any tips on this? Do Crawlers start out WAR? Is there any PLD main or subjob naturals?

I think most, or all normal crawlers are war/--- though some of the NMs might be an exception. Energetic eruca in mount zhalyom might be worth looking into, but I've never fought it myself. If that doesn't work out, Awd Goggie ( not an eruca ;; ) might be something to check as well... I'll try to check this one for you if I get time. xD

Won't it just use Cocoon multiple times? My bugard used Scutum twice in succession.

No, I mean Poison Breath

In the Pit you say? Well, do they still use Incinerate?

Incinerate replaces Poison Breath in the game, but I'm pretty sure I've seen a red crawler use Incinerate.

An easy test, make some cheap throw away Eruca, and spam show no mercy. Thats how you force Poison Breath on a normal Crawler, and Eruca's in the wild don't have poison breath at all. If it does Poison Breath, its not worth building.
