I do it in every fight. My ant is naturally very tame, and very aggressive, and heres what I do...
I look at my opponent thats coming up. Say its a hectaeyes, or another mob that I know is going to be a spellcaster. I hit show more bite before my ant pops out. It comes out, and when the enemy starts with its first spell, my ant sidesteps it and sidecrits it. I count my hits and when I figure I'm just over 100tp, I hit show no mercy, and force a mandibular bite. Then I hit show more bite and repeat. If its a mimic, I know that the Mimic is going to stun my tp moves, so I immediately hit Guard, Block, Parry so my ant holds its tp. The mimic will use its tp at about 150-200 tp first, and then I hit show no mercy and force my ant to Mandibular Bite while the Mimic has no tp. Then I switch back to Guard, Block, etc. If I fight a mob that has a particularly nasty tp move, like an attack based Opo with Vicious Claw, or a Beatdown crazy Goobue, I hit back up a bit to outrun, then I switch back to show no mercy for the attack. If i'm fighting a mob thats side-attack crazy, I hit Show More bite so I pet holds its tp for a long time, so the enemy tps more and I get in more side attack attempts. This is usually gets acroliths, because they all seem side-attack crazy, and have alot of HP and defense. Can't really hurt them over time with tp attacks, but they're easy to just melee down. |
