Default Qutrub Builds?

After leveling a cluster up, I'm starting a new mob, which would be a Qutrub. After a night of leveling, it's 29, innate HP+15%, innate Arcana Killer, Added Instant Phalanx, Added Max HP Bonus.

Nature is Somewhat Defensive.

Question is, what else could I add to this to increase longevity? It can last a long time once it gets Fortifying Wail off, even on mobs much higher than itself. Would Instant Stoneskin be a good investment?

I added damage resistance bonus to mine (and it came with HP +15%). What job is yours? I didn't have any success with mine (DRK), so I'd be interested in hearing how others make that mob work.

It's DRK currently, though I've heard of THF Qutrub I've yet to try it myself. I was trying to keep DRK main mostly because I had heard that Defensive DRK mobs spam drain at low HP.

Dmg Resist...if I get enough FP I'll have to try that.

I've seen a DRK qutrub around lately that consistently kicks the ass of higher level mobs. The only noticeable effect he has is instant ice spikes, he doesn't appear to have phalanx, defense, etc so probably attack bonuses. His temperament is very tame and somewhat aggressive, and his performance is a tad inconsistent, but without direction I have seen him side attack, nuke, enfeeble, drain, run from TP. I keep up with him if I do side attack myself, but once animating wail goes off it's over.

Level 49 Qutrub: WAR/THF
Having fun so far, got WAR Traits on it to help it double attack a bit more along with Instant Blink, STR+25 (innate), and Sleep Attacks. Wanted to try MNK/WAR but I'm not sure if I can do that.

So far so good, finally got Champion of D cage last night, but there's some mobs that just rip him to shreds.

I've thought about adding Instant Phalanx or some kind of HP+ but we'll see. Overall I've been quite happy on how he's turning out, trying to make him think more so he just doesn't stand there but no luck so far. Currently he's Very Wild, Very Aggressive and always listens to my orders. I might try to find one that has better innates and try the build again.

I'm assuming I need WAR Job traits to make him DA, but would he still DA if I took it off?

Question about Qutrubs:

1) do they come with Auto-Regain?
2) are they best used offensively or defensively?
~if offensively, whats decent build?
~if defensively, how well do they perform given that they take double dmg?
3) does the "take double damage" apply to spells? i.e., aeroga II, etc?
4) is an HP+ build better than a DMG resistance build?
5) are they immune to drain/aspir like skeleton/ghosts are? are they immune to all sleeps like in normaly game play?

I've photo'ed Qutrub and Lamia Idolater and noticed they come with subs (very cool). The Qutrub all seem be BLM/THF, and the Idolater seem to be DRK/WAR, is that all they come as? I've been taking pictures with the Feral Drain hate for undead and best innate I've seen so far is Auto-Regen.

[EDIT] 6) Do they need Black Magic Scrolls to be able to cast? Elementals dont so thats why I'm wondering.
