Our wiki section on Pankration is pretty weak right now. We need people who even know stuff simple like starting job or FP info to get the blank template and fill it out.

That is the blank page (replace Aspidastoise with monster image) and fill it out. Although I will probably remove the "innate skills" to just list what types of skills you can capture.

That page should link to the individual Pankration monster pages that will eventually be made.

Eventually the "Caught from" will link to the mob, the "family" will link to the individual page.

I think the Chigoe page is pretty much done, I've checked all jobs except for SMN myself and afer looking for a 2nd Attack Speed Bonus innate, I'm sure I've gotten all the possible plates (from the mire chigoe at least).

I think i'll do Rams next.

Edit: og, and i renamed the chigoe page to Chigoe(Pankration), better than the other name, dont have a better name other than that though.

I'd love to contribute to the Puk family page, but I don't like using what is "in fact my actual real name" on the interwebs. Btw that spreadsheet rocks, thanks for the link. Puks can be THF and WAR also.

The Pankration_Monster_Info page needs to be re-thought. As it stands it's going to be a 5 mile long page listing EVERY mobs starting level and FP. I did a quick count of lizards and there are 69 instances of them, and that's the one of the smaller monster categories.

The page needs to be cut down, take out the Monster Caught and Starting FP headers and make it a pankration monster family quick refernce page.

Part of the purpose is to show the different starting jobs of different NMs and irregular mobs. When it gets too big I'll rethink it, but for now more info is better.

If a page gets too big, separate the monsters by their families and put in a toc for easy navigation.

Yeah and the part at the bottom is for other random stuff like different models and other info people will want to know (ie Like the Apkallu innate stuff people talk about alot).

Ok, who added reserve draugar and didn't specify which freaking job was the starting job >_> If you need to specify what job skeleton you soultrapped, fine. But we need specifics up in herre.

I edited the Pankration Monster Info page a great deal, including renaming it(Pankration Monsters) and turning it into a (sub)category. The category will include every "Monstername (Pankration)" page. On the page itself will contain all the monster families and their basic stats(FP at 10/25/50, Starting Jobs, Available Jobs, etc) and their names will link to their Pankration page. The Pankration page is pretty similar itself(asking for the template to be edited to match perfectly). The Pankration page can contain information such as how to get elusive Starting Jobs(well Job/Subjob) and which NMs give them. It already contains which monsters start at what level.

I'm thinking it will be necessary to make Pankration pages for monsters that can't participate as monsters, because they will need to have what feral traits they grant listed.

Detailed info on specific mobs such as NM's or color variants should be available on that monsters family page (when they are made).

Under Starting Jobs have what 99% of monsters give (for example, WAR) and also list WAR/BLM* and under Special Information(on their page) list what NM(s) give WAR/BLM.

I don't see the pros for its cons. Every monster in the game would just make the page cluttered and way too big. The difference between monsters of the same family range from small to inexistent. I have not see anything in my personal experience or discussion here that would justify putting special focus on every single monster. Right now, I think it's very easy to use. If someone was looking for information Antlions, they would hit "Vermin", scroll down, see all basic information and if they felt the need to see more, just click it's name.

We could have had a 'general mobs of the type' thing and other ones for NMs.

Pit Monster is just the default pankration monster name when someone doesn't change it.
