Default Chosing a steady craft

Really noobish question not to mention its my first post so I know Im gonna get flamed lol...

Well I've been playing the game for over 3 years always farming silk, fishing, BCNM camping NMs etc to make my gil. And while Ive got above average gear for most my jobs it always comes from selling off all my gear from my other jobs.

This is my question, I know its a broad one.

What craft has the steadiest and quickest return?

I havent mined in years and have recently gotten LW up to 20 all mats farmed so all profit. Originally I was planning to take THF to 45 and farm ram skins, or run with my 75THF friend and split return on Buffalo leathers but I noticed AH sales have been significantly declining for LW since WotG came out. Is this temporary as everyone is stuck in campaign and missions? Or do you think I should find a better synth to continue working on?

Im not really partial to any but Im trying to find something can farm all the mats for realistically and sell quickly for small steady profit. Maybe a +1 equivalent to spending hours in zi tah farming blood and twigs.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

and on a side-note: Is mining worth it anymore with the constant AH crashes weve been having? (On pandemonium atleast)

Thank you,

Kaela :sandy:

If you want something that you can farm and turn into profit easily, bone and leather are both likely the best for this. They both involve fairly small investments to level and many of the materials for skillups are easily farmable. Along this vein, different jobs are better at soloing different things. I don't have much experience with this, but with a bit of research i expect you could find your niche.

You could mine and use blacksmithing or goldsmithing to turn your findings into money. The upside of this is that you can skill on a lot of what you mine. The downside is that there's quite an investment involved and most levels cannot be skilled from mined stuff alone.

Sano did you quit or what's up? I haven't played for 6 months or so but I noticed about a month ago you posted a goodbye thread on QCDN. Please tell me it wasn't one of the millions "Goodbye for a week or two" threads and you come crawling back.

You're too cool for that shit man lol...

Nah, I deactivated my account 3 weeks ago, but didn't realize you could still log on til the end of the month. Even so I've only logged on once or twice to say goodbye to people. After today I'm gone for at least a few months.

Most of my gil is gone, I left basic BLM gear and lolGaiters for if I decided to come back.
