A Profile in Courage. 10.31.2006- Septimus

The mid-day sun hung in the Aradjiah sky as a collection of fighters gathered together. In the distance from the hill on which they assembled they viewed their intended prey. The monstrous abomination, one which spat in the very face of creation, stomped fearlessly sound in the knowledge that it was the ultimate predator, or so it thought.

The assembled fighters wore rare armors and precious relic, except for one. This humble healer was far too inexperienced to don such lavish garments. While other people at his experience level were busy gathering artifacts or breaking their limits, this fledgling cleric had far weightier issues to deal with, particularly the enormous beast that he was about to face.

Some called this young Galka a fool when he set out to learn the healing arts despite his race's natural deficiency in magic. Others thought he was crazy to join in a battle against a mob that would eat people at his experience level by the handful. True, no one would have thought less of him if he had stayed in his mog house, but he could not abandon his friends when their need for a healer was so desperate.

The battle was long, the odds were against him, yet the young Galka mage pressed on with his healing magic and dragging unconscious fighters off of the battlefield so he could properly address their wounds. And although the first encounter did not end in victory, the efforts and bravery of this young Galka mage led them onward allowing them to formulate their final plan for victory.

He did not ask for the praise and adulations of his friends nor did he ask for a trophy from the battle. He did, however, ask for many expensive items because he is a total loot whore. Atumre, pat yourself on the back for you truly are a profile in courage.

I wanted my cleric's cap to be captioned with, "After flunking sex ed 3 times in a row for putting 'felching' down as 'a way to cut up the turkey at thanksgiving', Alleya finally graduates with top honours." :X

I loved the overwritten fanfic, hilarious. Needs more corny descriptions using game jargon though, as well as some roflable stuff about his bulging muscles glistening with sweat and stuff.
