actually from previous interviews they are going to continue updates, probably not quarterly updates as it is maybe bi annually or annually or just expansion updates..

as for rapture i hope SE was browsing the thread in the NEWB section about how to improve XI or what has kept XI from being at the top... some small things such as instancing alot of events from the get go and HNMs would make rapture a big improvement over XI.

Hrm, if I remember correctly there was an audio interview at last fanfest where they stated heavy development on Rapture wouldn't begin until FFXIII was finished and released. If that's still true it implies Rapture still has a way to go.
