POL Server Problems?

Trying to connect to playonline, and getting connection timed out... Keeps freezing at "Connecting to PlayOnline... Verifying PlayOnline ID and password..."
Getting POL-0011 error

My internet connection is working for most sites, ventrilo, etc. However i can't connect to my JPLS website either. IDK whats up!?!?

Anyone else having similar/any problems connecting? Anyone NOT having problems connecting?

Managed to connect to POL but cannot get into game (cannot connect to lobby server).

had 2 IDs ingame able to play but after i logout, i cant log in too

Well, I tried to log from my mule to my main today (after being out and about irl since about 10AM yesterday) and it told me that I didn't have any valid content IDs. Then it told me my PoL ID had been deactivated due to 3 months of inactivity. <_____<;

Anyway, I reactivated my PoL ID and it now is fighting me about my CC info (switching to a newer card, activated but only used twice. Has a 0 balance, valid for over a year, online account for it shows no issues, etc.) I don't know whose side the issues are on, but this is real real silly!

Update: So, after calling my credit card company and dicking around with the SE site some more, I've pretty much verified that I can't change my credit card info right now. The Credit card rep told me that apparently online CC verification is done by charging the card in question $1 then removing it and charging whatever the appropriate amount is (when that is decided.) SE successfully charged my card $1, but told me it was invalid and (as far as I know) did not remove it. So basically it seems they fucked something up with their registration server maintenance, and now (hopefully tomorrow) I'm going to have to deal with their notoriously receptive Support staff.

Second Update: They actually do mention that you can't purchase, cancel, or reactivate content IDs between the two "Phases" of their maintenance. So I should be able to reactivate my account tomorrow around 9AM EST. Linklink!

Yeah, my Content IDs on my main were randomly deactivated as well so when I went to log in today I got the same message. Congestion issues aside I was able to reactivate without any problems, so no big deal I suppose.

Happened to me today as well, and the congestion was terrible. It took me at least a good two hours to reactivate

I'm having problems aswell, didn't start until I tried to zone into DA.

Got a FFXI-3001 error zoning in, logged back on and got a FFXI-4001 error after a few seconds, followed by a FFXI-3100 error at title screen.

When I try to reboot FFXI I get a POL-0011 error.

Edit: got back on to be greeted by a FFXI-3101 error when trying to log onto a character.

Edit2: I have a mule logged in without problems, it's just my main account not letting me in.

Ive not been able to log in all day I get pol error 1160 , 0011
or error ffxi 3100 if I get to the lobby

I have two characters and they both do the same thing ; ; so bored.
