    so goodbye new expansion, sigh.
guess they really havent the team or resources to work on new big content anymore, considering even WotG reused lot of things.

For those who weren't up to scratch with the latest topics, basically these are "Mini expansions" aimed to be completed in a month or so, with a bit of backstory, a bit of map, and who knows if there'll be a little items here or there.

Pretty nice imo, and for approx $10 it'll be awesome for people who love the story.

Before "Waa but they're not finished with WotG yet" - the team working on this is not the team working on WotG, 2 separate teams working on main expac and mini expac.

These are nice, "short stories" so to speak, heart.

The scholar and dancer relic attire sets will also make their way to Vana’diel this winter!
Naturally, players will have to venture into the Dynamis areas should they hope to acquire them. Happy hunting!
Oooh. That was way sooner than I expected.

    Edit:
    I fail apparently. Re-edit.

"A new team has been established for the creation of these addons"

So obviously, instead of distracting what team they have for "big content" on these, they put together a new team for them..oh, and WoTG reused a lot of things because I don't know..might have to do with a crystal war, the past and Bastok/Sandoria/Windurst...nah.

yes, because they *had* to do WoTG.
it's not that they *chosed* WotG because they couldnt do Far East, ie creating much, much more new content. in the end WotG became a good comprimise but it's still no where near the "weight" of CoP or ToAU

Really wanna do these, but too bad I can't find ppl for quests. -.-

Anyway, I do think these add ons are gonna branch off of the 3 nations quests in the past.

    The point of episodic gaming:

The Escapist : Video Galleries : Zero Punctuation : The Orange Box

"It´s short and it´s cheap and comes with lots of extras - unlike YOUR mum!"

No idea how long you've played, but for years people were wanting to revisit the Crystal War.

    true.
and no interest at all for the Gigas northlands, Mithran homeland or followups to Tenzen storyline on East emptyness or Phoenix...

this said, one can always hope for those, alongside the 3 new mini-packs

This moblin maze thing will be interesting.
they mentioned gaining xp/skill ups/crafting skill ups.

Just like fighting enemies virtually anywhere else in Vana’diel, combat within the maze depths will yield both experience points and skillups. There is also the possibility of increasing your crafting skills, should the theme of the maze be based on synthesis. Capable of accommodating players up to a crafting skill of 60, it may be just the right venue for you and a friend to practice your handiwork.

I think that is Shadowhand (human form instead of undead fomor), in your spoiler.

PPl are talking about her either being Lilith or Ultamecia(sp?)

    It's Lady Lilith.

I don't think she's either. If you did "Purple, the new Black" you'll recall when those NPCs retreat they say they're going back to Lady... forgot the rest. I have a feeling that's her.

Off topic, but BTW MaachaQ, is that my .DAT in your avatar? 0.o

    EDIT: Damn you cookies!

No one thinks it is Ultimecia, they are just saying she resembles the insane time-compressing wench.
