Default VanaFest Coverage (now with actual LiveBlog)
For VanaFest, I will be going with Corinth, and we will try to get information back as best we can. We have decided on making some small posts on JPButton with a iPhone Wordpress App during the show. For example, after a Talk Section or an event, I'll put up a little summary and some pics.

Afterwards, we'll head back to the hotel, and from there we will run a CoverItLive chat session. We are thinking of having the open chat while we make a larger recap for the site, and people can hang out and ask questions about the show.

CoverItLive only works with IE and Firefox, and I looked at many options for live blogging from the show itself, but nothing was really feasible. Wordpress from my cell is probably the fastest way to get out information, since I have no idea if a laptop would get Internet access.

As for the aftershow thing, would people be interested in that? It would open up Saturday morning EST, probably around 8-9 am? If people would be up for attending that, we'll definitely get it running.

I found out about the deadline too late to enter.. gogo overtime work! There were some tickets on Japan Yahoo Auction, some tickets sold for as much as $600 and a few for $100-$200... We're going to Kyoto instead since we didn't get tickets. 1 ticket up for auction now, $~50, 3 days remaining.

Pity too... I live two stops from Tokyo Dome. :X

The VanaFes is this coming Saturday. My friend and I both entered, friend got lucky and got us tickets ^^

There are some for sale on YahooAuc if anyone is interested.

Last year attendants got caps and stickers with their server names on it (my friend got me one). I wonder if we get anything his time. And IIRC, it was possible to watch the entire show by streaming last year, maybe they'll do the same for those who missed the chance to go.

nifty! Although, they already annouced they won't do live streaming this year in the creator's voice blog or something.
