Default Nyzul Weapon Checker Broken

I've been using this nice tool to keep track of my WS points for each of my Nyzul weapons, until that last update when i logged it, it saying "Unable to read memory"...

"internal specifications update" ?

Now lost the counts on 4 weapons... Anyone knows how to "fix" that very nice tool?

Strange, worked for me the night after that update.

Tried it again myself just now, and it seems to be working fine.

Allright! Thank you guys, this one works np. I was using the other one from WS quest thread "Weapon Checker.exe", definitely broken now.

Kudos for Apnea.

I know I asked this question before, but uhh, how does it read the amount of points accumulated? Like, I have vorpal sword, and I don't have weapon checker, if I were to start using it, would it start from 0 or would it be able to tell how much I've put on it? Also, I am assuming it reads chat logs, but what happens if you switch gear after a SC and the SC text doesn't show

It reads the numbers directly out of memory so it gets your current values that are sent from the servers when ever you zone.

Compare it to TParty showing you party TP, it's basically giving you an outlet for viewing something that is there all the time.

So, yes, what you said =D

Only weapons that are unlocked in some way will be 'viewable', and they are tagged with a special memory allocation for that weapon, and this tool simply views it. The tool doesnt keep track of anything, it reads whats there. So if you started using this tool today, and youve done 100 WSs with Vorpal in the past, it would show 100, not 0.

Also note that you may need to zone to get an accurate reading. I was breaking in my Double Axe the other day, booted up the latent checker and it read 150. I then zoned without killing anything else, and it changed to 164.

Is this plugin compatible with Windower 3.30? I've never really gone through the trouble of upgrading to 3.41, and it seems to be giving me an error when I try to install/run it. That, or I'm just doing it wrong.

On a related note, trying to install .NET framework gives me another error saying that it's incompatible with the current version of .NET framework. Wut?

What makes you think that this is a plugin? >.>

Note: "That or I'm just doing it wrong." >.>. I honestly don't know. I won't pretend to know. I'm going to assume now it's not a plugin, and see what I can do from there. But if it's not a plugin, I'm not exactly sure where to put the .dll that dls with the application @@.

It's a .dll, you do nothing with .dlls but keep them in the same folder (unless it's stated differently) as the .exe your running. The people who made windower just decided to use .dlls, and decided to put them in a seperate folder, this is not a windower .dll.

Unzip the download to anywhere, and run the .exe when the game is running.

The same folder as the .exe would be a good place.

I have to open this before opening the game because it causes the game to crash for me. This is with Vista.

I guess that works, never tried it that way, I assume youd have to zone first before it works?

It works for me after just logging on. It updates after every zone.
