So I was wondering how far everyone were in their quest towards that.

I assume there's at least a few people on the quest where you have to record assaults/do alexandrite.

Asking this mainly because I was wondering if you get a refund for Alexandrite a la ROTZ relic.
Or if anyone actually completed the 3 other parts of the quest and not the Alexandrite one.

As for a refund, there is text from naja about something she gives you afterward, but we dont know what it is. Could be gold peices, could be alexandrites, could be 500 gil.

I think my progress above in such short time should indicate how hard the alexandrite portion is compared to other portions, which in turn should reinforce that there's no way they'd let us get away with only doing 3 of the 4 requirements.

As for what we get back after completing the quest, my money is on 99 imperial gold pieces. SE hates us that much.

75000 amps, 88000 tokens, memoires completed, and ~12000 alexandrite (pages of mog safe I haven't counted yet and 3 tells this morning, I might make it to 13000 tomorrow). Hoping the rebate is something other than Najabucks or a collection of crown-shaped joke items, or I'll be enjoying meat jerky in merit/events long after this quest is over.

As for me:

10% there for alexandrites.
50% there for ampoules.
20% there for nyzul (spent alot of my original points farming heads Q.Q).
Just starting assaults Q.Q, waiting on couple friends to get their seal so we can do together.

Estimated time to complete all this (save alexandrites): 5.5 months at the pace I am going.

Alexandrite completion: No fucking clue. Fuckers on server keep shouting for 3.5k (/hate)

If you're set on Nagi, why the hesitation with turning in your alex? Also curious how much you've spent total so far. Pretty amazing progress!

I've turned in 8000 so far because I'm concerned there might be a Fanfest/VerUp/JPbutton announcement where SE proves to yank our chains once again: we really, really only need 10000 alexandrites!* I'll hand more to that dirty Qiqirn once I hit 20k since I don't have the storage to carry more, and something about getting in too deep to bail out.

I've spent around 50M since alexandrites were introduced. All of my ultra-premium equipment has been liquidated, my COR and DNC defunct, my belt tightened, and I've borrowed a Hagun or two when I must use SAM. My plan is to have the remaining gil carry me through Wyrmseeker Areuhat; once I get that I can funnel tags back into Salvage, commence a borrowing spree on the grounds that Naja "pays you back" and finally bankrupt at the end of the year with some knuckles that ultimately prove shittier than Destroyers (SHOULD HAVE UPGRADED PUP!).

ok i kept wanting to ask this question but since no one have brought up yet, i shall ask it here O_O

i still do not know what mystic to make(maybe none) but friends are starting the 50 assault memoire thingy next week and i dont wanna be left out since its a good chance to clr all 50 again with good friends/players

so i have decided to throw in either thf or sam weapon and start getting the books.

------------so the question starts here------------
Example: i traded thf weapon.
If, during any point of time, i have done, lets say, 30/50 assault recored on the books, and i have decided to do sam weapon instead, can i cancel the thf's weapon quest, reset to sam weapon YET ABLE TO keep the books?

or do i have to toss the recorded books in order to cancel/reset the entire quest O_O

really appreciate any input(if someone else tried already)

if not, ima try next week then, after doing 1 assault(since rvb easy to come by) and abundant the entire quest to see if books can be "kept". QQ 1 weapon loss for testing

P.S anyway, is it even possible to reset a weapon quest after trading? lol
