Just from observation, what do you think are the rarest pieces per set?

Skadi Body > Head > Hands > Legs > Feet

Morrigans Legs > Head > Feet > Hands > Body

Marduk Body > Legs > Head > Feet > Hands

Ares...hmm...Legs > Hands > Head > Feet > Body


I wonder if I just see way more Morrigans/Ares bodies because people spam the hell out of them? Haha

Also, which do you think is *the rarest* piece? I've only seen ONE Skadi Body on my server, so I'd have to go with that.

Skadi Body is rare cuz that rampart is retarded to pop and random elements (e.g. wind weather, dumb mages, etc.) can totally screw you over. But yeah, Silver Sea is a jerkoff, and Macha's Slops specifically has to be the hardest-to-get piece in all of Salvage. Our drop rate is 2/100 (just had 100th kill last night), and we consider ourselves lucky.

For our Group Morrigan Slops was the bane of our existance. Only got them once ever at the end of our 9 month salvage marathon.


For Usukane I´d say:

Body > head = hands = legs > feet


Body is definetly the rarest. Most new groups don´t have the knowledge and ways to go for turtle usually. Even for average groups doing turtle usually means giving up doing the boss. While I love it - it is also not an overly good piece to upgrade as a stand alone item considering the price tag.

I set hands, legs and head at about the same. You will hit up those NMs usually anyway just clearing the zone for other things. It only really depends on what zone your group wants to do.


Feet are most common. Baf can put out a lot of those on a happy day but also deny you any bee sighting for months if unlucky. The real reason why I put it as most common is that it is such an insanely good stand alone piece and has a spot on top of the priority list for every job able to use it. I sure knew when I started salvage the hunger for this item was the biggest. So people will pursue this the hardest.

Hardest to get would be Turtle's drop, shitty drop rate shitty pop condition crappy floor, his rate needs to be bumped up considering the effort involved.


As for skadi, hands are the most rare because surprise surprise, it's in SSR. Been nearly a year now and haven't been able to complete my full set of skadi simply because of the no drop. My AU salvage group has gotten 1 drop ever from SSR , usukane body, which we are grateful for but COME ON.

I been doing salvage since it came out have still yet to see a SSR 35 drop.

I wouldn't put Ares Hands as that hard to get seeing as they drop off 3rd floor Rampart NM in Bhaf, which for the most part have a pretty decent rate compared to some of the other stuff.

All of these drop rates leave something to be desired (except maybe Hammerblow), but Powderkeg is just retarded, especially considering it cock blocks you out of Crackows and Gloves.

Its all different for every LS, my group went I'd say 0/250~ before we ever saw a morrigan's body. Out of every piece of salvage equipment, I'd vote morrigan's body to be the most rare. But then I see that body EVERYWHERE on my server. There are tons of full salvage sets running around on my server so its hard to say what i find to be the most rare.

I dont see much skadi, but I'd say thats because not many people are going after that set. But yeah, for my group personally, morrigan's body by far.

Deimos's Leggings are a lot more rare than Deimos's Cuirass by virtue of the run.

For Ares's:

Legs -> Head -> Feet -> Hands -> Body.

Also, I've seen 7 Deimos's Cuirass drop and I've never seen a Macha's Coat drop, even though we kill more QQTHs than we do QQAs.

I've seen two SSR 35's drop in at least a hundred runs. Ares 35 on the second Gryo3 we had ever killed (I passed to a good friend because I already had Ares's Cuirass), and a pair of freelotted Skadi hands to some BST.

Now I'm 0/40+ on Gyro3 for my pants. I hate that zone.

My group has let 2 Skadi hands go freelot, one time because we aggro'd the gear and killed it because it wouldn't wana stay slept. No other 35 has ever droped in SSR since.

You know that 35 skadi hands we got a few weeks after salvage came out still hasn't been upgraded. D: The 25 drops every time he's not there and he's just never got it. Still havn't seen bhaf put out anything thats not bard pants, though our SSR rate isn't as bad as some other peoples. <_<;
