Current Alexandrite and currency prices on other servers

Uh couldn't find a post for it was wondering if some of the servers had seen a drop in prices yet on Dynamis currency and Alex. People still trying to get lik 7-8k per alex dynamis currency still 5k-9k on Ifrit...

I usually see alex for 5k, starting to see some 4ks though. dynamis coins hovering 8-9k, half that for bynes. this is unicorn

I've personally seen an avg of 6-8K on Bismark, never seen any at 4-5, and I check a lot of bazaars.

Bynes 7-7.5k, Shells/Bronze around 9-10k recently it seems.

I think there is a good difference between what you're seeing in bazaars and what people are paying.

On pheonix: Rolanmart bazaars: 4-5k

Other bazaars: 2-3k

What I buy for: 2k

imo alex isn't worth more than 1k apiece. 30k of them works out to the price of a kclub at that rate, which is about what I would value the good mythics.

I sell currency cheap to people who are actually upgrading and have a realistic chance of finishing it. When I bazaar for 'going rate' I'm just taking advantage of resellers and people who will never finish.

Here's my suggestion. You post a few pics of you buiyng 100 silverpieces for 500k and jadeshells for 400k and 100 bynes for 300k.

Usually when this happens. I tell the person I will pay them commission for the name of buyers & sellers. The person usually shuts up right there.

I agree that buying Alex. for anything more than say ~2k would be a bad idea. I am upgrading relic however, not mythic and for most of my dynamis life I was in shells where sponsership was not allowed and you had to do your best to buy currency at good prices. As you can see from my sig I was about 70% done before the update.

I am finally able to sponser now but not everybody is upgrading a horn or aegis and has the ls bend over backwards to accomodate them (not saying that was what occurred in your case either but everybodys circumstances are different).

There is a simple reason you don't see 5k shells or bronzepieces: you keep buying them at 9-10k. Have some restraint. I guarantee you prices would be down in a week if someone bazaared that long without them selling.

1. I am not the only person buying currency, a single person has little impact on the price.
2. I don't buy o.pieces at all, I finished that stage quite a while ago.
3. I get my shells for about a 30% discount to market from my own private suppliers so I never touch the bazzars.

Fair enough.

You would agree though, that markets don't generally work that way unless there is collaboration involved. Once a commodities price drops lower than what is considered fair price, buyers will come in to purchase it at the 'cheap' price and push it back up. Of course it's up to those buyers to determine what they believe to be fair price. The only way the price will fall is if supply far exceeds demand, and that apparently hasn't happened yet.

There's actually a thread that is talking about the exact same thing in the newbie section but the discussion has more people talking about how 30k is too much. I think that they either should have made Alexandrites a point system or made them drop from Nyzul Isle. I think the whole system was based on a group working to get their mythics together and the alexandrites seem like a repeat of the relic system.

Alexandrites price? Too much?

P.S. On Alexander I haven't seen the alexandrites going for much less than 4-5k so foolish or extremely rich people are buying them.
