I haven't picked up any D&D books since 3.5, and I'm curious what impression people have of 4th edition before I buy all three core books. I'm told it plays faster, but is this really the case? It is easier to multiclass, and are there any major changes to classes / races where you went "uh, what?"
Do tell. |

A lot of "Uh, what?" for everything.
Character creation goes by faster, but gameplay/combat does not. Multiclassing is simplified. 3.5 probably has the better system, but 4e's isn't bad. It's pretty cool, but the core books felt very empty. A lot of people think it feels like a MMO. |
