    Firefox 3.5.2 Memory Leak?

Noticed a possible issue on the newest release of firefox. Certain websites (such as facebook) will not load links properly in the new version, which also causes an unusual amount of CPU usage (upwards of 90%). Closing the program does not resolve the issue, however terminating firefox.exe process does clear the problem up.

Also noticing several odd behaviors here on BG as well. Sigs are getting cut off at the end, and page load times are also longer than normal. Also FFXIGear goes wonky under the new version. =(

Yeah, it is definitely buggy. I've been using Chrome til they iron out the issues.

The sig trimming was intentinally put in by Ragns to mess with people using the 'R' skin.

But yes Firefox is pretty damn buggy. There are times where it won't let my copy/paste into the URL/search boxes.

Noticed the cpu issue as well since the recent update but it is not on a particular site, just in general.

On my laptop, it keeps reopening closed tabs.

I don't know if it's the new firefox or windows 7 but when I click on pictures on eBay they come up as a "page" instead of a picture so I can't save them. Could also be something new with eBay I assume too.

There is a major one is 3.5.2. I keep getting windows errors letting me know it's about to close my game because windows is low on memory, but task manager is showing 75%~ usage or physical ram. It's only when firefox is open too, heh.

Just reverted back to 3.5.1, cleared the problems right up.

any chance you could Rapidshare the Installer for 3.5.1? No luck finding a link to download it, everything has been updated to 3.5.2 already.

I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox.. the first time I opened it after reinstalling, it opened the same 4 tabs I have been trying to close for days. I keep closing them and they keep reopening themselves. Mozilla needs to fix this quickly, not use to this type of crap from them.

Sometime between Firefox 2 and 3 Mozilla appears to to have shit all over and inside the program. :\ I swear if IE/Chrome supported noscript & adblock I would jump in a heartbeat. Firefox has been fucking great as an alternative browser, but the "alternative" part is really starting to show.

I guess I'm lucky as I haven't run into any issues just yet on my 3.5.2.
