Union Drops

No thread for posting Unions drops yet? Let's see if these are worth anything. Having to wait 5 minutes for everyone to lot/leave after the battle sucks pretty hard though.

Hmm, looks like some interesting stuff has potential to drop (maybe some 100 dynamis currencies?), but it looks a little bland to me :/

I don't think 100 pieces will drop. Frankly I don't know why they bothered putting in the capacity for 1 or 2 coins at all. Such a waste of programming.

Really wish they would have done something like trading allied notes for 100's. 10-30k for a 100 piece or something. At least something to work towards rather than relying on such a typical shitty drop system.

Just had a very short (got 518 AN) campaign in Batallia, with few people. Only a single Smilodon Hide in the union chest.

Because no point system would work with this. I'm pretty sure my BLM can't outdo the pld/dnc and rdm/nin on point, even if I'm more useful for the fight.

They need to prevent afk people, and lv1 from lotting, but it would be hard to make something perfect

Seems like there is little/no control over who joins your union aside from maybe picking something farther down the list and hope no one else does?

Have to say I'm well disappointed in the union system. I thought it might actually bring people to work together in campaign, but you basically just sign up to a union then do the same shitty campaign stuff as pre-update and at the end have "fun" of lotting against a ton of people for what seems like shitty drops for the most part :/

I was happy with campaign before they added this so I don't really care about having to outlot people since it's a nice bonus whenever I do happen to win something.

Yeah, I'm pretty much just seeing this as an extra perk to doing campaign, still a bit gutted they didn't do something more impressive with it.

Originally I had thought we would be getting the items with the Campaign bonuses directly from Unions. That would have made the prize pool at least somewhat decent.

However, since you need to do Campaign to get those items anyway I guess this is just a more convenient method? So I am not going to hate on it over the loot.

But the fact we can't moderate our own unions defeats the purpose imo.
