Mini figures of FFXI: TARU ONRY

I saw this in Japan Expo (European biggest event about Japanese Culture in Paris) today in SE booth:

TARU ONLY MINI FIGURES!!! (3~5cm? same size as FF SD figures)

Shantotto, Ajido, Star Sybil and Rokel. Must buy.

You're in luck, those are usually $10 or less but you buy them at random.

It's about the same size as "FINAL FANTASY TRADING ARTS MINI", they're of course W.I.P. and might be sold as a set (most likely). I wonder if they're going to make a 5th one JP ONRY like what they always do for their trading arts collection...

I also saw:
- FFXIII playarts: snow, lightning, loli and shaft guy and .... HUUUUUGE twin shiva motorcycle, amazing detailed!
- FFIX playarts: bigger than expected
- KH playarts: winged cloud, winged sephiroth, halloween sora, mickey without the mantle version (WIP) and santa sora (WIP)
- vagabond statues: musashi, yoshioka, sasaki
- gorgeous Resident Evil 5 playarts photo forbidden (but I took some for my own pleasure teehee)
- new FMA playarts, really cool with a huge Alphonse
- disney trading arts (alice, peter pan, snow white)
- dozen of FFXI novels translated in french
- some FF CDs
- FFXI keychains, FF necklace, rings, etc..
- FFVII playart, FF trading figures (dissidia & mini vol.3)
- FF creatures KAI (btw master creatures & creatures collection): smaller than master collection unfortunately but very detailed: Zel from FFXII, Minotaurs from FFVIII, Quetz from FFX and Bahamut Sin from FFVIIAC only (Tiamat from FFI and silouette of Tina Magitech from FFVI seen in august's Hobby Japan magazine)

If it wasn't for my money and free days being spent on another vacation I'd definitly go take a look there myself.
Perhaps I can view (and buy) the finished products in Tokyo (Shinjuku) in August.

Did they have the colour versions of thos Taru figures or were they just the grey ones? I remember buying some of the FF Trading Arts Monsters and the colour versions were rarer to get. =(

Any armor, pose, etc. you want of your character and mounted on a nice base with a plaque with your name on it.

Not worth 100 bucks for a wow toon but for a ffxi character with what, 4 or 5 years on it, absolutely.

Sorry for being long, just got back from the 2nd (and last for me) day of the event. Almost died from ppl tetrising in subways and hot weather...

Tarutaru are only prototype, thus no color YET and the sculpture might change in the process.

For ppl who wants to use these photos for their blogs, forums etc... I don't mind at all but please don't remove the link from it. Please respect ppl who take the photos and almost died from a large event like this. I noticed some guys were using these photos and crop the link like they were the owners of it, please don't behave like that. Thanks.

Wasn't this inspired from that survey they did about merchandise the other month?

It contained about information about merchandise you suggest/would buy. I remember a section of four tarus you would like to see as figurines. I don't have the link, but I know those figures came from that survey.
